Poker 6•7•8™ Hold'Em strategy cardsGreat for 'Online' and 'Live Table' play
"A powerful shortcut to Hold'Em success right in your pocket." —Doyle Brunson, Ten-Time World Series Of Poker Champion (Two-Time WSOP Main Event Champion).
These are the hold'em strategy cards that were discussed on KLAV radio in Las Vegas on July 20, 2006, hosted by Joe Pain and Ken Einiger.
In his book Hold’Em Excellence (From Beginner to Winner), Lou Krieger writes, "Deciding whether to see the flop with your first two cards is generally the most important decision you'll make playing hold'em. . . . So important is this decision that many experts suggest just playing correctly before the flop, at least in low-limit games, is enough to turn a loser into a break-even player, and a break-even player into a winner.”
The Poker 6·7·8 Hold’Em Strategy Cards are available in two 5-card sets. Set I covers full tables of 7-10 players, while Set II covers the short tables of 2-6 players. Each set of five cards is only $19.95 — and when your order both Set I and Set II at the same time, there is no shipping & handling charge to North America. In their book, Small Stakes Hold’em (Winning Big With Expert Play), Ed Miller, David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth write, “Good hand selection is the foundation of winning hold’em. No matter how well you play otherwise, if you often start with the wrong hands, you will be a long-term loser.

Question: Why are these Hold’Em strategy cards, for all numbers of players from 2 thru 10 with separate Pre-Flop strategy tables for early, middle, and late positions (plus a fourth table for a late "aggressive" strategy), so significant as to be considered truly revolutionary?
Answer: Because the Poker 6·7·8 Hold’Em Strategy Cards provide the tables which give anyone instant access to encyclopedia quality, Pre-Flop hand selection every time! Anyone who uses the Poker 6·7·8 Hold’Em Strategy Cards begins every single hand with a big edge. As the above quotes clearly state, there is a huge advantage to be had if only one could always know exactly what to do with the first two cards. Starting in April 2006, for the first time ever, anyone can always know exactly what their reasonable options are in just seconds! As a bonus, the cards also contain suggestions for how to play in the blinds and on the last three rounds.
Question: Just how much does one’s Hold’Em pre-flop strategy need to vary as the number of players playing changes?
Answer: A lot, especially as the number of players gets smaller. You can see this for yourself. Please FIRST examine the high-resolution, full-sized, color-printable 7 Players card PDF (when the image appears, you can either print it or click the "Rotate View Clockwise" button three times until you see the image in portrait view) for a free, usable copy of our 7 Players card! For easy readability, you should print it out. Then compare the Late Position — Aggressive panel on the 7 Players card to the On the Button — Aggressive panel on the 2 Players card, which appears in the right foreground of the second photo above. The 2 Players card’s decision cells are all easily identifiable, except that you can’t see the footnotes.
Question: Why should I believe I can rely on these cards to provide sound, reliable, "correct" playing decisions?
Answer: The decisions were arrived at through time-consuming research and thoughtful consideration. The developer, Hal Marcus, is an applied mathematician and actuary with 40 years of experience in poker and blackjack. Most importantly, the strategy cards have been strongly endorsed by poker legend Doyle Brunson (see his quote above), as well as by Mike Caro, "The Mad Genius of Poker," two of poker’s top professional players. These strategies are especially useful for limit hold'em, but are still very useful for no-limit and pot-limit hold'em, including multi-table and sit n go tournaments.
The strategy cards are normally used unfolded, lying flat, and stacked in numerical order, one on top of another, with the sides that have three strategy tables facing up. When the sides that have the three tables are facing up, the strategy cards will naturally tend to remain perfectly flat. So, for example, you might start out with the 7 Players card on the bottom of your pile and the 10 Players card on the top, but if two players suddenly left the table you would simply slip the 10 Players and 9 Players cards to the back of the pack and use the 8 Players card, which would have rotated to the top of the pile.
Each strategy card has rounded corners and measures 3.5" x 5" when folded. Although the cards are mostly used lying flat, the outer panels on each card fold easily in both directions. That helps when you have to glance at the Early Position tables, which are located on the other side of the cards.
